Hello
I'm working on a new driver development for connections to databases with
spatial extensions based on JASPA. More specifically JASPA for H2, but in
theory it should work also with Postgres backend and any database that JASPA
could handle in the future.
JASPA already have a driver developed for gvSIG 1.11, but is a replacement
for the native implementation of PostGIS and what I'm doing is starting the
development of one additional to postgis, so that both can evolve
independently.
The help I need now is someone to tell me where I can find documentation (if
any) for the development of a new driver (not a plugin). I've been looking
at the documentation for developers of gvSIG but can not find anything about
it.
I can do "reverse engineering" and take the postgis driver (or whatever),
rename and re-implement, but I'd like to do in a more "academic" way.
Thank you very much for your help in advance.
