DCAT Application Profile for Data Portals in Europe - Revision

The ISA² Programme of the European Commission is starting an activity to review and revise the DCAT Application Profile for Data Portals in Europe, based on experience gained since its initial specification in 2013. The revision process will take place between February and June 2015.

In a first round of this activity we are inviting stakeholders to participate in this review by submitting change requests and additional suggestions that can be taken into account.

Meetings of the DCAT-AP revision

Members of the revision Working Group will be invited to a number of online meetings. The following schedule was proposed:

This is the document that was used for the public review.

Members of the DCAT-AP Working Group provided their comments, and based on them we created issues and we proposed solutions.


After the public review and the implementation of the proposed solutions, we released DCAT-AP v1.1, which is the latest version of the specification.
