As part of ISA Action 1.17, A Reusable INSPIRE Reference Platform (ARE3NA) a project was launched by the EC Joint Research Centre (JRC) on Authentication, Authorization & Accounting for Data and Services in EU Public Administrations, with a focus on the access control needs of the INSPIRE Directive.
This document, D2.4 – Results of the Workshop: ‘AAA-Architectures for INSPIRE’ 16-17 March, Leuven, explains the work around a stakeholder and expert workshop (D2.3) that discussed the related deliverables (D2.1 and D2.2) to establish the Access Management Federation testbed. This output is relevant to the implementation of the Directive, as being discussed by the INSPIRE Maintenance and Implementation Group in terms of developing Guidelines and Best Practices for Access Control.
The meeting was a key step for the AAA testbed's initial setup and rapid development.
The JRC wish to thank the authors, reviewers and workshop participants for their work in supporting ARE3NA.
