About the Common Assessment Method for Standards and Specifications (CAMSS)

CAMSS is the European guide for assessing and selecting standards and specifications for an eGovernment project, a reference when building an architecture and an enabler for justifying the choice of standards and specifications in terms of interoperability needs and requirements. It is fully aligned with the European Standardisation Regulation 1025/2012.

CAMSS Assessment OSLO²

A CAMSS Assessment is a solution which corresponds to the output of an assessment of a standard or technical specification.

This assessment has been performed following the scenario “technical specification” using the CAMSS Tools in the context of CAMSSaaS for the Flemish government hereafter 'the CAMSSaaS user. It reports on the assessment of the Open Specification for Linking Organisations OSLO², which is a set of data specifications (vocabularies and application profiles) tailored for the Flemish local context.

The specification has been initially developed by the Flemish ICT Organisation (V-ICT-OR) and is currently maintained by the Flemish government.
