DC-2011, the eleventh International Conference on Dublin Core and Metadata Applications, will take place in The Hague from 21 through 23 September 2011.
The conference promises to be an exciting forum for the exchange of innovative work in metadata research and best practices including tutorials, keynote speeches by Mikael Nilsson and Emmanuelle Bermès, a program of peer reviewed papers, project reports and posters, and DCMI Workshop and special sessions.
SEMIC.EU will give a lightening talk on its ongoing work on the Asset Metadata Description Schema (ADMS) initiative during the Government Community workshop. The objective of this workshop is to exchange best practices and experiences on using Linked Open Data for taxonomies and thesauri for government metadata in different countries and to share other experiences that might be of interest to people working on metadata in a government context.
