Italy’s citizen are being invited to help design ‘Italia Login’, a new portal that is intended to aggregate all available eGovernment services. Agenzia per l'Italia Digitale (AGID) - the country’s Agency for the Digitalisation of the Public Sector - is asking for comments on the draft plan. The deadline to submit feedback is 9 December.
According to AGID, Italia Login will provide a central point for accessing all online government services. The goal is to make it easier to access eGovernment services, and to improve the link between citizens and public administration.
AGID is making the draft plan available on request. The document summarises the results of a workshop on Italia Login that took place in October.
About one hundred participants, including public administration and civil society representatives, discussed the design of services, system architecture, its content management needs, and the user interface requirements.
By inviting others to comment on the outcome of the workshop, AGID hopes to further improve the quality of ideas. The agency is welcoming all comments, providing - on request - access to an online collaborative platform.
