The government of Romania is going to make it easier for companies to bid for public sector contracts. In March, the Agency for the Digital Agenda (AADR) and the Public Procurement Agency (ANAP) started the implementation of the European Single Procurement Document (ESPD) and e-Certis, simplifying the registration process for submitting offers to calls for tender.

The implementation of the ESPD and e-Certis is co-financed by the EU’s Connecting Europe Facility.

In a statement, AADR and ANAP said that the EUR 368,325 project would consolidate the country’s eProcurement solutions and align them with European standards and directives on public procurement.

ANAP confirms that ESPD and e-Certis will be built into e-Licitatie, the country’s eProcurement portal, managed by AADR.
