The call failed on the server

The following error is displayed to the end user as a message box when user clicks 'Εργασίες' or 'Ειδοποιήσεις': Message box title: [Message from webpage] Mesage box text: ' The call failed on the server; see server log for details' After that message appears, none of the tabs of 'Πίνακας Ελέγχου' shows any data. Clicking 'Διαθέσιμες υπηρεσίες' does not fetch any data, while clicking the other tab titles shows the message box described above. I noticed that the malfunction always occurs a number of minutes after the portal is started and the first user logs in. The error also appears in the Service Portal version handed over from K2Dyn. A server log is included as an attachment.

Even if the user logs out and logs in again the error is not resolved. Actually the error appears to any user who tries to interact with the service portal control panel. The only way to recover from the error is the service portal tomcat manager to stop and start the ServicePortal web application.

According to the log, it seems that client's session to BetaCMS has expired. This means that the client logged in to BetaCMS without a permanent key. In this case its token is expired after 30 minutes (the default value) unless timeout value has been changed. (Check in JBOSS-home/server/default/conf/betacms-repositories-configuration.xml and look for the attribute 'authenticationTokenTimeout'). To overcome this problem, either use a permanent key during login to ensure that token never expires or you can increase the authenticationTokenTimeout in the configuration file. (to apply any changes you should restart the server)
