The Big Data in Healthcare symposium on 4 July ("Colloque Big Data en santé") is organised by France’s Ministry of Health and Social Affairs.

To better understand all the issues related to big data and healthcare, the conference on 4 July will present and discuss recent work of a study group. The conference will also see the presentation of the results of organised dicussions with involved citizens.

This conference allows national and international healthcare data specialist to showcase Big data application made possible by the use of such data.

Cross linking the massive amounts of data and data sources, using innovative technologie, is going to be a the Big Data challenge. Especially in healthcare, the technical posibilities will raise ethical and socio-economic questions.
