The IAM maturity model helps organizations to identify the state of their IAM implementation. An organization can monitor the development of their IAM maturity and compare itself with the best practices within the industry. It allows demonstrating the value of the IAM in order to show the advantages of an IAM strategy and the state of implementation of the strategy. This also facilitates  meeting the requirements of governance, risk and compliance (GRC).

Ein Identity and Access Management Maturitätsmodell hilft Unternehmen, ihren aktuellen Stand der IAM Implementierung zu bestimmen. So kann ein Unternehmen die Entwicklung seiner IAM-Maturität verfolgen und sich mit der branchenüblichen Best Practice messen. Es bietet auch die Möglichkeit, den Wert von IAM zu demonstrieren, um die Vorteile einer Strategie und die vorgenommene Umsetzung darzustellen.
