"D@mes and d@ta - a st@ke for the future" is a project with a comprehensive and holistic approach with regards to uplifting the plights of the ethnic minority women in Oslo using ICT literacy skills training and personality development as a major educational tool for empowering these women. This project also includes measures like information and awareness building both among the public entities/offices and the public in general. Part of the goal is to reshape and reverse unsound conditions like discrimination, exclusion and racism. It will also be a major part of the program to mobilize women in participating in civil and/or minority women organizations/communities as a step towards strengthening of their own organizations. This is for these organizations and communities to be better equipped in attaining better leverage and impact on promoting societal changes.

Description of the way to implement the initiative

In addition to public authorities and public service providers, civil and private sectors represent enormous potentials that can be beneficial to the project and to individual participants. This is why there are efforts to actively involve all possible stakeholders in creating a multisectoral network.
