ECDL Foundation has just published a new position paper “Perception and Reality. Measuring Digital Skills in Europe”. The paper analyses the results of studies carried out by the ECDL National Operators in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany and Switzerland. The findings reveal that people tend to over-estimate their skills and that significant skills gaps exist even in the analysed countries, which are usually considered to be digitally advanced.
