Smart Cities: An innovation network between governments and academic partners
Short Description
The Smartcities’ guide to ICT architectures is a useful source of information and provides case studies of architectures in the Netherlands, Sweden and Norway.
Smart Cities produced this publication primarily for business developers, architects and designers, although many other e-government stakeholders will find it useful if they want to acquire some architectural know-how. The publication will serve as a reference for the developer community, providing a common understanding and a set of common recommendations for the design of ICT architectures and highlighting their importance in service-oriented organisations.
Finally, this Guide identifies a number of conditions that should be met before administrations begin to develop ICT infrastructure, one of them being, the adoption of open specifications and interoperability whenever possible.
