If you have full copyright on your software or if your program includes components that were licensed to you under permissive open source conditions the distribution licence can be freely selected:

Do you want to allow recipients (other people, from other organisations) to modify your software ?

  • Yes: (go to sub-questions)

  • No: In such case you are outside the scope of open source distribution. You can adopt any other licence or invent your own proprietary licence.

Please note that - even modified by the creation of a derivative -  the source code of some specific components of your program (especially those licensed under LGPL or MPL) will stay distributed under their primary licence.
