Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial - FOSS4G - is a yearly technical conference hosted by the Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo), reaching in 2019 its 13th edition. Over the years, FOSS4G progressed following closely the developments of the open source solutions for geodata management, processing and visualization, increasing from app 450 participants in 2006 to over 1000 în 2018. Today FOSS4G brings together for one week a wide range of professionals working in any district of the Geospatial Information, as developers, data scientists, domain experts, in the private, academic or public sector. A traditional FOSS4G is made of specific events: hands-on workshops, code sprints, B2B, B2Gov events and the conference itself.
