Digital Government Beyond 2020 Workshop

The main objective of this workshop is to gather expert views on the most pressing priorities and issues related to the achievement of digital government across Europe and on the role that the EU could play in assisting the Member States. During the workshop, the preliminary findings of the study assessing the need for and the scope of a new Commission initiative on digital government will be presented.

The workshop is open to all members of the academia and researchers working in the area of digital government and public sector modernisation more broadly. The detailed workshop agenda is presented in the table below.

This workshop is part of the final phase of the study on ‘A new Commission initiative on public sector digitisation’, currently being conducted by Wavestone on behalf of the ISA² programme.

The workshop will take place on the 25 June, 2018, between 9h-13h, in Brussels. The exact location of the workshop as well as more practical information regarding the workshop will be available closer to the day.

During the session, participants will have the opportunity to present their views and brainstorm current situation of digital government, future needs (+2020), and propose solutions at EU level to achieve digital government across the EU.
