Registry of Registers implements the following:

Principles Interoperability layers Conceptual model
Reusability  Interoperability governance ✅ Base registries
✅ Technological neutrality Semantic interoperability Open data
User-centricity
Administrative simplification

Registry of Registers implements the following recommendations as explained below:

✅ Recommendation 6  | Principle 4: Reusability
The plan for Registry of Registries includes creation of reusable tools (Mapping Editor, Creator, Visual Editor, Data Validator, Data Harvester), hence allowing public officials to participate in the development and reuse of solutions.

✅ Recommendation 9  | Principle 5: Technological neutrality
The setting up of base registries helps to foster data portability by ensuring that all sets of data are described in the same way.

✅ Recommendation 13  | Principle 6: User-centricity
The creation and use of base registries helps to structure information in a standardised way and ensure that it is asked once only from citizens and businesses.

✅ Recommendation 17  | Principle 10: Administrative simplification
The use of base registries helps to strengthen efficiency within public administrations by ensuring that all data types are described in a standardised way, can be easily accessible & shared and are requested once-only.

✅ Recommendation 23  | Interoperability layer: Interoperability governance
By consulting the registry of registers, public officials are consulting a catalogue and choosing the most appropriate approach for them, hence improving cross border and cross sector interoperability.

✅ Recommendation 30  | Interoperability layer: Semantic interoperability
Registry of Registers allows public officials to ensure that their public data is collected, managed, shared, protected and preserved in a standardised way.

✅ Recommendation 37  | Conceptual model: Base registries
The Registry of Registers helps to ensure that public administrations make reliable sources of basic information on items such as persons, companies, vehicles, licences, buildings, locations and roads, which are ‘authentic and authoritative' available for reuse and access.

✅ Recommendation 38  | Conceptual model: Base registries
The Registry of Registers allows public officials to publish the semantic and technical means and documentation needed for others to connect and reuse available information.

✅ Recommendation 39  | Conceptual model: Base registries
The Registry of Registers allows public officials to publish registries with appropriate metadata, allowing others to easily find and reuse the shared information.

✅ Recommendation 42  | Conceptual model: Open data
Structuring data in base registries helps to ensure its publication in machine-readable, non-proprietary formats.
