The organisers of the Open Government Tag München 2016 write:
"The digital transformation is in full swing. New technologies are changing the way we work, live and communicate. The question f these developments are good or not for public administrations, is irrelevant. Rather, the question should be how authorities can use the opportunities and meet the challenges. In principle, these changes can only be realised together with the citizens. This requires openness."
On October 27, to public administrations, politicians, IT industry, researchers and citizens can meet and discuss "Openness, participation and digitization - impulses for a modern municipality".
Keynote Speaker is Elke Löffler, Managing Director of Governance International and an expert in citizen participation, open government and cooperative urban development gain.
Other speakers include, among others Prof. Manfred Broy, founding president of the Center Digitalisierung.Bayern, Marcus de Gloria Martins by police in Munich and Dr. Matthias Stürmer, University of Bern.
