The OGP Global Summit in Paris showcased open government actions on climate action, following COP22 in Marrakech in November.  The "Accelerating climate action through open government" panel session aimed to promote the value of open government for advancing climate action at the national level.

The meeting brought together senior ministers and civil society leaders engaged in climate action, and  those responsible for the Open Government Partnership implementation. The moderated panel discussion involved a senior representative from the UNFCCC and ministers from France and Mexico -  leading countries that have integrated NDC climate commitments into their National Action Plans.
