The Free Software Foundation Hungary is organising the Free Software Conference and Exhibition in Budapest, at the Óbuda University (map and info).
The conference program shows a mix of technical presentations, discussions about free software and free culture and an exhibit in the main hall. Presentations include a talk by József Kadlecsik, about the Linux kernel packet filtering. Kadlecsik is the lead developer of this firewall software solution. A second speaker will be AndrásTímá, a member of the LibreOffice Engineering Steering Comittee. Chairman of the Hungarian BSD Association, Óbuda University professor Gabor Légrádi, is also on of the conference speakers.
