AT: Graz Linux Days 2011

Graz Linux Days 2011 (in German)

Linux beginners, experienced administrators and software developers will have the opportunity to gain experience about free and open source software in three parallel series. Thanks to various presentations, Linux newcomers will become familiar with spreadsheets, the free world map OpenStreetMap and 3D graphics software Blender 3D with the free alternatives to popular proprietary products. The technically demanding topics include: highly available database installations, software voice recognition and cloud computing for desktops.

Throughout the event and especially in the breaks between the presentations, participants can ask for additional information about internationally renowned projects (including KDE,, Free Software Foundation Europe, Debian, Ubuntu and BSD).
