One of the largest Linux/BSD/Open Source conferences organised in Denmark, the Open Source Days, is being organised for the twelfth time this year. The conference takes place at the IT University in Copenhagen on March 5 and 6.
According to the organisers, the conference is very popular, and one of the largest open IT-conferences in the Nordic region.
The conference is organised by a handful of devoted persons from the Linux/BSD community. The organising itself attracts "a huge number of persons, who find it fun to help making the conference."
In early January, the organisers point out they are still open to suggestions for talks, presentations and lightning talks. "We are seeking speakers covering all aspects of open source." Talks can last up to an hour, lightning talks are intended to not take more than 15 minutes.
