The Romanian IT media firm Agora has announced tentative plans to organise an open source conference in Bucharest, on Friday 16 November. The firm's founder and CEO, Romulus Maier, says he wants to reunite and reinforce the country's budding free software community. Maier was involved in eLiberatica, a series of  open source conferences that took place annually between 2006 and 2009.

"The Romanian open source community misses its traditional eLiberatica event. We hope to revive this as soon as possible", Maier emailed to community members in October. The conference program and other details would be made public on Agora's conference website, he added.
