The 2014 Sambruk Conference is focussing on education. The organisers write: “One of the municipality's most important and most challenging tasks is to educate and support school students, nurturing them into adulthood and helping them find a job of guiding them to a higher academic education.”

The Sambruk association use long been active in improving school business processes and by providing IT support for schools.

This year, Sambruk began working with the municipality of Trelleborg, joining other municipalities on a project to support young citizens not going to school nor employed. Sambruk is also involved in a project aiming to overhaul the software solution for school administration.

As municipalities have many common functions and carry out similar tasks, the Sambruk conference is an opportunity for municipalites to exchange best practices, get fresh ideas, discuss with their peers and meet business stakeholders.
