We are pleased to announce the launch of the new PM² methodology guide, now availaOpen PM² Guide v.3.0ble in the EU Bookshop. This 3rd edition comes with a number of changes and reflects the collective work achieved in the past years:

  • The internal and Open Editions have been merged and will be maintained as a single publication - PM² does not reflect only the practice of the European Commission but integrates feedback from many European Institutions and external stakeholders.
  • PM² is completed now with critical information to enable adopting organisations to manage portfolios, programmes and PM² projects.
  • It comes with a selection of efficient tools for the project manager as well as a special focus on the behaviours of a good project manager.
  • PM² keeps a strong bond with the domain-specific Agile methods such as Agile @EC.

I strongly recommend defining a minimum set of guidelines for coordinating translations into all the languages of the Union, I suggest as main references:
