Methodology and Tools - Support for Semantic Interoperability

Miroslav Liska

Lead Information Architect, Denmark

Per is the lead information architect of the Danish governmental interoperability initiative. With a background in systematic zoology, Per has been involved with data standardisation at the national level since 2007.

Objectives: With the visual power of UML and the explicit semantics of RDF, the logical model and its diagrams is now replacing the too technical XML-Schema as the central standardisation instrument. In the (relatively near) future, common modelling practise and common models will make government data interoperable and reusable for the benefit of all.
