The documents on this page describe the support to the implementation of the persistent URI policy for EU institutions.

More specifically, three distinct documents are included with the goal to:

1. Revise the NUTS RDF model [Document];
2. Identify good design practices for the local part of URI under data.europa.eu. For this, the local URI policies of various organisations were analysed, to describe their schematics in a uniform way and explain the rationale behind them [Document];
3. Identify a set of criteria to assess collections of metadata, data, documents, datasets, etc. and to decide whether to create URIs under data.europa.eu, or to assign DOIs [Document].
