Heather Broomfield
Senior Advisor, Resource Centre for Data Sharing, Digitalisation Agency, Norway
Heather is a Senior Advisor in the Resource Centre for Data Sharing in the Norwegian Digitalisation Agency. She combines this with a PhD fellowship in the University of Oslo, researching how Norway can realise a responsible data-driven government. Heather built up and led Norway’s open data initiative. She is a member of the Council of Europe’s Ad-hoc Committee on Artificial Intelligence (CAHAI) and has served on the OECD’s expert group on Open Government Data and the European Commission’s Public Sector Information expert group for many years. Heather holds an LLM in Innovation, Technology and the Law from the University of Edinburgh.
