Study on "Data Analytics for Member States and Citizens"

For the past decade, the Semantic Interoperability Community (SEMIC) action pursued the objective of making possible seamless and high-quality data transmissions between European public administrations, via the promotion of interoperability solutions as a fundamental enabler of such exchanges. The ongoing COVID19 crisis shed a light on both the importance of this objective but as well the considerable gaps that still exist in effectively managing data and ensuring its transmission.

Thus, the Joinup collection Study on "Data Analytics for Member States and Citizens" aims to foster discussion and collaboration among experts, building on the identically named study. The study explores the governance, technological and policy application aspect of big data in public administration, through a set of case studies and policy recommendations in support of the European Commission data strategy.
