The previous four editions were organized in cooperation and under the patronage of the Minister of Economy and Polish Standardization Committee, Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Inspector General for Personal Data Protection as well as Chamber of Electronic Economy e-Commerce Polska. The support of these organizations has also been promised this year and we count on an equally fruitful cooperation.

Since its first edition, CommonSign aims at construction of interoperability mechanisms for electronic signature on the level of mutual information exchange and cooperation between the interested parties. The conference is open to Polish and foreign providers and recipients of applications and services in the area of electronic signature and trust services, as well as administration representatives.

Since 2014 the Scientific and Organization Board headed by Marian Srebrny, PhD, has been contributing to the organization of the Conference and Test.

The 2015 Conference will be devoted to three basic topics. The first one is related to the implementation of eIDAS Regulation which had started last year, with special attention to issues important for consumers and service providers.  As in the previous years, we will also concentrate on projects which are vital for practical aspects of economic and social life in Poland, with priority given to the topic of e-identification. We will also significantly refer to the topic of interoperability as a key matter when many tools are already used and new ones are being launched on the market.

Since its first edition, the conference has been accompanied by Polish Interoperability Test for Electronic Signature, which had been developed in order to verify multilateral interoperability of software for electronic signing and verification of electronic signatures. As there are numerous standards and possibilities to implement them we have decided to meet the market’s needs and to provide independent and comprehensive state-of-art information on electronic signature in Poland. Despite currently unfavourable market circumstances we are still ready to create conditions for interested companies to objectively test their products, to award best of them and publicize the achieved results for popularization purpose.  Basing on the experiences gathered while organizing the previous events we will continue the test formula allowing continuous access to the tests.

In the nearest future test sets and conditions for awarding CommonSign 2015 SEAL will be announced. Tests are planned to be performed in late September and early October 2015.

Persons and companies interested in participation in the conference and tests are kindly invited to contact the organizers.
