Boris van Hoytema is driven by the mission to get cities to develop their software as well as policy together. For the past two years, he has been working with the City of Amsterdam as open source advisor as well as the Open Source Development Manager for the Interreg SCORE project on transnational co-development.

Now Boris is trying to scale the collaboration opportunities by setting up a association of public organizations that can enable co-development across contexts named the Foundation for Public Code.
