Will open data save the world?

The theme of this first edition of the futures of data workshop is "open data". The Ghent (Belgium) based organisers want to examine the opportunities of open data made available by governments, companies, and associations.

"What is the future of open data in Belgium?", this question is to be answered by Alexander De Croo.

"What if cities allow citizens to innovate itself with open data of the city?", a question to be answered by Bart Rosseau?

"What is the role of young hackers?", to be discussed by  Pieter-Jan Pauwels

"How creepy it is when you can follow Seatle's police interventions and emergency calls live?", a presentation by Dries Depoorter?
