Local administrations are facing a huge challenge: increase the quality of the services provided and save money at the same time. One of the areas of action is the exchange of information between local administrations and within administrations.

In this regard, the Flemish ICT organisation is launching open data standards for local administrations. The launch, which takes the form of a general assembly, will contribute to a clear vision about data standardisation for local administrations.

The programme of the event, and more information about the launch are available at http://bit.ly/statengeneraal
