Welcome to the brand new Joinup!
Joinup, the European Commission’s collaboration platform for digital government professionals, has been completely updated and is now easier to use. We hope you like it.
The most visible change is the new and mobile-friendly look, thanks to an upgrade of the core parts of the content management system. Equally pivotal is a revision of the way the content is structured.
These changes make Joinup easier to use, true. However, you will need to take some time to get familiar with ‘Collections’ - refreshed thematic reordering of Joinup’s IT solutions. The aim is to help users find IT solutions more easily, and so foster their reuse.
Government digitisation platform
Joinup began in 2011 as a development of the European Commission’s ISA² Programme. The government digitisation platform now offers access to more than 2,800 interoperability solutions for public administrations, included in the collections of more than 40 standardisation bodies, public administrations and open source software repositories. We help public services, citizens and the private sector work together on reusable ICT solutions. In addition, Joinup helps eGovernment professionals exchange best practices, and aggregates news, studies and benchmarks on government digitisation across the 28 EU Member States and 4 EFTA countries.
Last but not least, we have reviewed the way future IT solutions can be submitted. This bolstering of quality control will help prevent irrelevant submissions and rid the collections of solutions that are not properly maintained.
