There are just a few more weeks left to register for the Sharing and Reuse Conference 2017. The conference will take place In Lisbon (Portugal) on 29 March.
The Sharing and Resue Conference 2017 is about modernisation of eGovenment services, and the key role of sharing and reuse of IT solutions. Working together on IT solutions allows public administrations to improve and develop their eGovernment services and boosts government modernisation.
By sharing and reusing IT solutions public sector organisations can build interoperable and standardised services, while lowering costs.
The meeting facilitates the exchange of best practices for both IT policies and the development of IT solutions. Public administrations can learn how to efficiently work together, and how to overcome legal barriers. The conference will showcase business models, governance models, and approaches to standardisation that promote sharing and reuse of IT solutions.
Target audience for the conference is public administration policy makers and decision makers, legal professionals, IT managers, and procurers. In addition, attendees include private sector IT developers providing IT solutions for public administrations.
The Sharing and Resue Conference 2017 will be opened by Portugal’s Minister of the Presidency and of Administrative Modernisation, Maria Manuel Leitão Marques, and the Director General at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Informatics, Gertrud Ingestad.
In Lisbon, ISA² will also announce the winners of the Sharing and Reuse Awards contest. The ceremony will see in total EUR 100,000 awarded to public administrations that have shared their IT solutions and whose solutions have a potential for wider reuse in Europe.
