ePractice.eu migration

In December 2014, ePractice.eu was migrated to the collaborative platform Joinup.

Why was ePractice.eu migrated?

ePractice brought together policy makers and practitioners in the fields of eGovernment, eHealth and eInclusion, but it lacked the tools to support domain-specific re-usable solutions. Joinup, on the other hand, has communities of developers as well as communities of interest in specific domains and a catalogue of interoperability solutions. There are overlaps and synergies between interoperability for administration-to-administration information exchange on the one hand, and eGovernment, eHealth and eInclusion good practices on the other hand. We expect that both ePractice and Joinup users will benefit from the consolidation of the applications onto a single platform, which aims at providing a direct link between the solutions and the practitioners.

What is the objective of the platform?

Joinup helps European public administrations set up efficient and effective cross-border and cross-sector electronic collaborations. It allows professionals to share interoperability solutions for public administrations and to find, choose, re-use and develop interoperability solutions.

Where is the content of ePractice.eu?

All content that has been migrated from the former ePractice.eu is now available in the ePracticeeGovernmenteInclusion and eHealth communities on Joinup.
