Access to Biological Collection Data, Extension for Geosciences (ABCD-EFG)
The Access to Biological Collections Data (ABCD) Schema is an XML schema definition for the exchange of primary biodiversity data (specimens and observations). More information can be found here.
EFG extends this standard to include the elements required for publishing data items typical for paleontological specimen collections and mineralogical collections. It is used in the GeoCASe network.
