LODSlovakia is graph of Slovakian linked government data acquired from several base registers that is periodically published by open community LODSlovakia.EU since 2016. The data are obtained the Legal Subject Register, Address Register, Central MetaInformation System, Value Added Tax Register and many others public registers. The Austrian open spending portal www.offenerhaushalt.at holds spending and budget data of all Austrian municipalities. The mayors were provided with access data to the portal in order to view the visualisations of their spending data (2001-2015). With two simple clicks, not only the data can be published, but also the interactive visualisations. Since 2015 a special visualisation of grants and subsidies has been developed for the City of Salzburg that will now be re-used by other cities as well (Linz, Bregenz, Wels, Innsbruck are interested). 13.06.2016: das Metadatenschema für offene Verwaltungsdaten steht als OGD 2.0 Standard Entwurf zur öffentlichen Kommentierung auf Joinup bereit.

Open Government Data and the standardisation of metadata used to explore and find open data sets, apps and documents among > 11.000 German municipalities, 16 Länder and several domain specific portals at federal level is a long running topic in German public administration.
From 13/06/2016 until 25/07/2016 the Open Government Data standard "Entwurf" version was undergoing a public review phase.

Open Data Support is a 36 month project of DG CONNECT of the European Commission to improve the visibility and facilitate the access to datasets published on local and national open data portals in order to increase their re-use within and across borders. Open Data Support is a pan-European initiative targeting both those data publishers that are well underway but also the ones that are just starting.
