RADion
The Asset Description Metadata Schema (ADMS) and Data Set Catalogue Vocabulary have a lot in common. Also the Asset Description Metadata Schema for Software (ADMS.SW) is based on ADMS. Working on ADMS.SW it became clear that a lot from ADMS could be reused, but not all elements from ADMS were relevant for ADMS.SW.
Considering all this and with the purpose of reducing complexity of the ADMS.SW model, the common elements of ADMS, ADMS.SW and DCAT are separated in a top level model. Because the key class names in this model are Repository, Asset and Distribution, the model got the name RADion.…

Asset Description Metadata Schema for Software
IMPORTANT NOTICE This data specification has been deprecated. It has been replaced by the Asset Description Metadata Schema solution. ADMS.SW is a metadata vocabulary to describe software making it possible to more easily explore, find, and link software on the Web. The specification reuses existing specifications, such as DOAP, SPDX, ISO 19770-2, ADMS, and the Trove software map. By using ADMS.SW to describe software in software forges, repositories, and catalogues, publishers increase discoverability and enable applications easily to consume software metadata. It allows software…

Belgian CountryCode project - Business Case
Belgian project created in order to standardize the usage of country codes between different Administrations. This information is meant to be communicated with citizen, enterprises, belgian administration and other member states. This is being led by a lack of agility using the ISO codes and for transitions Belgium has to deal with information coming from several countries. Those have to be represented in a standardized way. In some cases, ISO codes could not be used. Those cases are described in our documentation. Belgium decided to create its own authoritative source in order to deal with…
