OpenLitterMap is an open source, interactive, and accessible database of the world's litter and plastic pollution. We are turning cleaning the planet into a game by making it fun to map and collect data on litter anywhere. By doing the work, users are rewarded with Littercoin which is the first token rewarded for the production of geographic information (ie. doing citizen science). Littercoin is a non tradable token that will not be listed on any exchange and is being engineered so that it can be spent in zero waste stores and the climate economy only.
