You may download the OCS 1.3.1-Viking virtual image from:

http://joinup.ec.europa.eu/site/ocs/ocs-1.3.1.ova.

This is an Oracle VirtualBox image containing a Linux installation, Glassfish JEE application server and MySQL database server already setup.

It is intended for testing purposes and to provide developers with a complete installation example they can further analyse.

Please find detailed instructions on how to use it in the attached pdf file.

OCS 1.3.0 is archived here: http://joinup.ec.europa.eu/site/ocs/Fedora.ova.

Hello,

Since the virtual image is on version 1.3.1, can you please update the following documentation to reflect changes :

OCS 1.3.0 Virtual image legacy documentation

- the danic user does not exist in version 1.3.1.

- must logon with ocs/ocs

- root account is disabled by default in ubuntu

- can't find the crypto Tool

Best regards

Pierre

I have downloaded and installed the virtual machine. Works fine. One question and one suggestion:

Question: the crypto tool is installed in the home directory of a user (danic) but access is restricted to root. I see no reason for that. Why is this done?

Suggestion: to familiarize myself with all aspects of the application, I would need a set of test files (XML file similar to the one downloaded from the ECI register, a set of test support statements). It would be nice to have such set of test files available - I assume you have them anyhow to test the software yourself.

Regards, Karel

Dear Carmelo,

Could you please download latest version of the Oracle Virtual Box https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

and make sure the VM image downloaded from joinup.eu is not corrupted (you could download it again).

Then please have a look at this section https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch12.html in order to troubleshoot your setup.

If you still have problems, please post any error messages and system information you might have.

Hope it helps.

Cristian
