The Insolvency Registers Interconnection (IRI) system is a solution implemented by DG Justice and Consumers that aims to provide a single access point within the European e-Justice Portal to insolvency registers of participating EU Member States. The online service allows searching for insolvent entities, either natural or legal persons, by means of message exchange from the e-Justice portal to Member State endpoints. The service is currently operational and available here.
The IRI project plans to update the existing service to version 2.0 in June 2019 to extend its messaging capabilities and use e-Delivery as a channel next to the currently supported web service calls. To facilitate integration, a test platform is envisioned to be offered to participating Member States to enable testing of their endpoints’ conformance to the IRI project’s specifications. The ISA² Interoperability Test Bed has been selected for this purpose following a successful proof of concept, based on its self-service approach to testing, rich reporting features and flexibility to support all foreseen messaging and validation needs.
Work now proceeds with the complete implementation of the IRI project’s testing strategy.
