Dear StatDCAT-AP community,
We would like to inform you about the recent update of the StatDCAT Application Profile for data portals in Europe (StatDCAT-AP). This updated version implements bug fix requests to the StatDCAT-AP version 1.0, which were submitted to the ISA² Programme of the European Commission in line with the Change and Release Management Policy for DCAT-AP.
The draft version of the StatDCAT-AP bug fix release is available for public review from 10th May until 24th May 2019.
The changes implemented in the draft documents for StatDCAT-AP version 1.0.1 are related to the comments mentioned in issues StatDCAT-AP-1 and StatDCAT-AP-2 from StatDCAT-AP repository on the GitHub platform and in issues DCAT-AP-54 and DCAT-AP-50 from DCAT-AP repository on the GitHub platform.
- Aligned the use of the dcterms and dct prefixes in StatDCAT-AP version 1.0.1 in Annex VIII.2 as in StatDCAT-AP-1: @prefix dcterms: http://purl.org/dc/terms/ has been changed to @prefix dct: http://purl.org/dc/terms/
- Updated Annex VI, SDMX structural metadata example as in StatDCAT-AP-2. In order to avoid any ambiguity, URIs are used instead of keywords for DCAT-AP and StatDCAT-AP.
- Updated references to Publications Office Metadata Registry as in DCAT-AP-54 and in Table1, Column Vocabulary name for all rows containing MDR: MDR has been changed to EU Vocabularies.
- Updated DCAT-AP UML schema as in DCAT-AP-50 by changing the order of startDate and endDate in dct:PeriodOfTime.

We kindly invite you to have a look at the draft version of the release. You can download the related documents from the StatDCAT-AP repository on the GitHub platform and submit your comments to the issues StatDCAT-AP-1, StatDCAT-AP-2, DCAT-AP-54, DCAT-AP-50.
All comments received by 24th May will be evaluated. Once all review comments have been resolved, the final version of the new bug fix release of StatDCAT-AP (version 1.0.1) will be published at the end of May 2019.
