CIRCABC is distributed as open source on the GitHUB platform. When using CIRCABC, Member States, Businesses, Citizens and European Institutions ensure the use of open source and avoid vender lock-in.
Recommendation 6 | Reusability

CIRCABC can be reused by public administrations as open source software (under EUPL license) and as a service over a web interface supporting collaboration, information and document exchange repository.

CIRCABC provides a data exchange service allowing different entities to reuse and share data.

CIRCABC provides European entities with a trustable, secure and easy to use collaboration, information and document exchange repository.

Recommendation 33 | Technical interoperability

CIRCABC uses open specifications which can be reused by public administrations in an effort to allow for technical interoperability. The underlying system is Alfresco and CIRCABC offers different interfaces in order to integrate, exchange documents and information with other tools.
Those interfaces can be consumed via standard protocols such as REST API, CMIS, WebDAV.
