The SEEMP platform is based on Service Oriented Architecture and offers access to semantically enriched employment services. Additionally SEEMP enhances interoperability between the existing National/Local job market places (PES systems) at pan-European level.   A SEEMP 'peer' will act as an extension framework for an existing PES, capable of providing added value services to job seekers, employers and central and/or local governments.   Expectations The SEEMP project aims at providing public and private mediators on the e-Employment market a highly advanced, ontology-based, peer-to-peer (P2P) based interoperability infrastructure Improve the capability of public and private mediators to satisfy the labour supply and demand, which ? especially in cross-border scenarios - is limited by the lack of common standards, and linguistic/administrative boundaries
