The European Legal and Licensing Workshop aims to offer European Legal Network's members an opportunity to meet and discuss the future of the European Free Software market from a legal perspective. This two-days event will feature speeches and panels from many of the key lawyers involved in Free Software legal affairs in Europe and beyond. Particular attention will be given to topics such as supply chain management, compliance procedures, licence management, and community interaction.
The first day will focus on the European Legal Network and the future of Free Software licensing in Europe. An overview of the situation in the United States, Australia, and Taiwan will also be presented to participants.
The second day will be dedicated to other specific topics, such as a framework for classifying differences between open source and Free Software license.
Some presentations will be followed by panel discussions.
