GRNET and the European Digital Innovation Hub for Digital Governance GR digiGOV-innoHUB are organising a webinar on “Electronic Identification Systems (eID) and the eIDAS Regulation” on Thursday June 15, 2023 from 16:00 to 17:30. (EEST)
The webinar will be about EU Regulation 910/2014, also known as eIDAS (Electronic Identification, Authentication and Trust Services) and will focus on the part of the regulation that deals with electronic identification and electronic identity.
During the webinar ,will be analyzed the adoption of electronic identity systems by the member states, as well as the proposal to revise the regulation (eIDAS 2.0) and the introduction of the EU Digital (EUDI) Wallet for the management of identity by European citizens.

Speaker:
Dr. Panagiotis Rizomyliotis is an associate professor in the Department of Informatics and Telematics of the Harokopeio University of Athens. He is active in research in Information Systems Security and Cryptography, and works as an external expert on cryptography for the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA).
He has served for 7 years as a plenary member of the Independent Communications Privacy Authority (ICAP).
