Webinar on 'Stories of use cases: Open data for the European Green Deal'

Published on: 13/03/2023 Event

Data makes the world go round. Making the most of open data is crucial to address global challenges and advance innovation. Through its data.europa academy, the Publications Office is organizing a series of webinars to help you explore the potential of open data. The series “Stories of use cases” will cover each of the European Commission political priorities.

The first webinar in this series focuses on the European Green Deal, and will take place on Friday 17 March from 10:00 to 11:30 CET. The data.europa academy team will present three initiatives driven by open data that enable the green transition and respond to environmental challenges in Europe. The selected use cases build on the Use Case Observatory, the EU Datathon, and the data.europa.eu use case repository. These use cases exemplify open data as a powerful societal tool to better inform citizens, fight disinformation, and contribute to a zero emission, digital economy.
