LibreOffice Conference 2019 (LibOCon 2019) will be hosted by the Spanish city of Almeria during the month of September, from September 11 (Wednesday) to September 13 (Friday).
LibOCon is the annual gathering of the LibreOffice, Document Liberation Project and The Document Foundation communities, now in its 9th year. At LibOCon, LibreOffice users gather to network and meet key LibreOffice developers, designers, localizers, documenters, supporters and marketers, and to learn about the latest in LibreOffice development. LibOCon is volunteers driven and not for profit. Attendance to the conference is free previous registration.
LibOCon 2019 features: keynotes about best practices in large migrations to LibreOffice, business and technical presentations, technology previews, customer case studies, hands-on labs, tracks about localization and certification, and the conference hack-night.
LibreOffice is the biggest and more important free/libre/opensource office suite in the world, ported to the most popular platforms and with an estimated user base of 200 millions or more worldwide. LibreOffice is the main opensource office suite alternative for proprietary, desktop or cloud, and one of the biggest and more relevant opensource initiatives in the world.
