Between 14 and 15 October, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Open Source and the Conseil National du Logiciel Libre are co-hosting Bboost, an annual convention on free and open source software that takes place in La-Rochelle (France). This event will bring together international speakers from more than 10 countries and 50 exhibitors for more than 30 sessions on the open source ecosystem.

Designed by and for open digital players, this year’s edition of Bboost will be based on the theme of "On the way to a new open world". This event is intended for leaders and managers of digital companies, those responsible for the digital strategy of companies in traditional sectors facing digital transformation, public administrations, developers, students and all enthusiasts of free and open source.

The programme consists of 30 conferences, held in French or in English depending on the session, which will be focus on these topics:

  • Digital sovereignty and resilience (9 lectures)
  • Responsible digital and scalability (6 lectures)
  • Data (5 lectures)
  • Digital commons (5 lectures)
  • Cybersecurity (5 lectures)

In addition to conferences, participants will be able to take part in three workshops presenting open source projects and a hackathon on the theme of "La Rochelle, carbon neutral in 2040".

This event is supported by the EU and a round table session on digital sovereignty will be led by Moritz Körner (MEP).
